Okay, not really, but you get the point…I hope! I’ve always wanted to share the things I’ve learned about working on things and building them with others. I understand that not everyone has a dad or mentor who is wise in all things mechanical or construction related. The world would be a boring place if we all knew everything!

I’m hoping to show you some simple tips for fixing things from lawnmowers to your car or building things around you house like birdhouses or even take on a new hobby like knife making. I love spending time out in my Garage with my power tools. But it doesn’t stop there, I have tools of all types and I try and match the tool for the job at hand.

I’ve just recently taken up welding and I hope to share that with you as well. It’s thrilling because I’ve always wanted to learn how to do it, but I never had all the tools needed to really get as involved into welding as I wanted to.

I was fortunate that my Dad was very mechanically inclined. It was constantly amazed at how he could take something apart and put it all back together and make it work. Over the years, he taught me important lessons about working on machinery. In this blog, I hope to be able to pass some of those skills down to you good people as well.

My Dad was never much of a woodworker, although he could build things like barns, chicken coops, porches and so on. I guess you could say he had a good deal of construction sense, but he never got into woodworking itself. I’ve recently discovered this hobby and it’s an exciting field for me along with all new power tools! I love my tools!

So stick around and maybe subscribe to the RSS feed to keep in touch and see what I’m doing. I hope you like it and if there is anything you would like to see, feel free to contact me!
